The Start of Something Comfortable

Welcome to Daisy Hill
Cue the theme music! This is the very first Daisy Hill blog post. Think of this as the “pilot episode”, the one where you’re not quite sure what you’ve signed up for yet, but you stick around because something tells you it’s going to be good.
So, why am I here? Honestly: bras. For me, Daisy Hill is about creating fit and support for lived-in bodies. And by lived-in, I don’t mean the kind of bodies you see in perfectly curated ads where no one has ever experienced a carb in their life. I mean real bodies. Bodies that have carried kids, fluctuated 40 pounds in a year, cried, laughed, eaten Taco Bell at midnight, endured corporate layoffs (twice… character development, am I right?), and just kept going. Those bodies deserve better. They are strong and beautiful, and they deserve comfort and support that actually works. No more “good enough” undergarments.
This mission is personal. I’ve lived in my own "lived-in body", gaining and losing 40+ pounds and constantly battling with my intimates. I got tired of playing the undergarment version of “pick two.” Comfort, style, support. Somehow I was always left holding one and wishing for the others. It was like dating: great personality, but emotionally unavailable. Super hot, but treats you like crap. Fun, but no job. WHY can’t we have all three? That was my “aha” moment when I decided to stop waiting for the unicorn bra and just make it myself.
Now let’s talk about the real stuff, because it’s time someone said it out loud. Monoboob. Saggy cups. Straps that slide off your shoulders like they’re ghosting you. Bands digging into your back like they’re holding a personal grudge. Underwires plotting your downfall one poke at a time. Intimates can be an absolute circus, and not in a fun way. I’ve lived all of it and I want Daisy Hill to be the solution that finally says, “enough.”
Here’s what makes Daisy Hill different: fit comes first. Always. Style and creativity are non-negotiable too, but not at the expense of function. Then sprinkle on a dash of floral inspiration because I can’t help myself. While I could cut corners to make things faster, I won’t. Because that’s how you end up with the kind of bra you rip off in the car before you even get home (you know the one).
At the end of the day, I don’t want your bra to be the most dramatic thing in your life. I want it to do its job quietly so you can get on with yours, whether that’s running errands, chasing kids, or binge-watching Netflix in peace. Daisy Hill is about comfort so good, you forget you’re even wearing it. And when you do finally take it off at night, it should come with a sigh of ease, not the kind of desperate relief that makes you question all your life choices.
So, welcome to Daisy Hill. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here. This is the start of something fun, meaningful, and hopefully a little bit cheeky. On this blog, I’ll share behind-the-scenes peeks at building the brand, my thoughts on fit and design, and probably a few too many jokes about bras. Stick around, because this is going to be way more fun than another ill-fitting underwire.
Stay Comfy, Stay Daisy
